The County FA has a lower price for those individuals that would like to take a course to support their coaching and their ambition.
2. Support Workshops
As part of the County FA’s commitment to the development and learning of the football futures participants, you will be invited to attend these workshops to aid your understanding and help share good practice.
3. Networking
This programme is a great opportunity to network with people that are involved with football. You will meet people who have been in your position and have a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help you achieve your goals.
4. CV Development
Being an active volunteer with a club, league or any other organisation is good for your CV which will help you in the future gain employment in whatever field you would like to get into. Furthermore, through meeting people within the network, these people can provide references for you that carry more weight.
5. Young Leaders Programme
For those Football Futures participants that are aged between 16 and 18 there is an opportunity to be part of the Young Leaders Programme. This programme provides chances to work with people on a local, regional, national and international level.
6. Access to training
There are opportunities through all areas to access crucial training that will not only help you within your volunteering but also within CV development. The County FA runs workshops in First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Equality that are necessary for your understanding.
7. Certificates and Rewards
As a register football futures participant, you will receive certificates for the number of hours completed and for those who complete over 200 hours you can be nominated for awards and rewards from the FA
