FA Charter Standard Club looking for a manager ffor Ladies team

Manager/Coach Required for Lincoln Griffins Ladies FC – Volunteer basis.

Lincoln Griffins Ladies FC are in need of a new volunteer manager/coach for one of its two current ladies teams.
The Club also have teams at U11, U12, U13 U14 (two teams), and U16 along with a mini-Griffs section for 5 – 8 year olds.

The Manager of the Ladies team in question would report to the Chairman of the Club and be responsible for the following:
Planning and running all coaching sessions (these are pre-booked by the Club and currently consist of summer training at Ravendale Sports Ground and winter training at Cherry Willingham Community School’s 3G pitches. All teams train on the same evening this being a Thursday. Summer times are 6 -8pm and winter 7:30 – 9pm.
There are also qualified coaches amongst the team and several more attending a Level 1 course in the near future. Part of the role will be to mentor these coaches that they may then use their skills with junior teams.

General Management responsibilities:
Communicating with players and Club Management Committee as necessary to ensure a smooth running of the team.
Attend monthly Club management meetings as a member of the Management Committee.

The management of the team with regards playing in the Lincolnshire County Women’s League (Sunday League) as follows:
Registration of players to the League on appropriate league forms.
Team selection from available players.
Any administration needs for ensuring fixtures are kept to e.g. contacting opposition managers in a timely fashion prior to fixture dates.
Arrangement and payment of referees for home games.
Ensure the team has an available assistant match official (linesperson) for both home and away fixtures.
Reporting of results to the League via the FA Full-Time web site.
Recording results after fixtures on any league documentation.
Arrangement of after-match refreshments.
Attend any League meetings that require a team presence i.e. AGM and Fixture meetings.
Responsible for the collection of players subs – these are paid in several parts during the year and are not a weekly chore.
To keep current with coaching techniques, some funding through the Club is available for future development.
During Summer months; to arrange for teams to travel to tournaments as needed.
Note: Many of the above functions can be delegated to players to get them more involved in the running of their team.

Club aspirations: To provide football to all females that want to play for fun and recreation. To raise the standard of football through good coaching. To move through the Women’s football pyramid to as high a level as possible.
