Schools Sports Partnership Football Coaches Needed
- What is the Overall Programme?
The programme is the national School Sport Coaching programme. Every School Sport Partnership in England has been given funding by DCSF over the next three years to pay for coaches to come into schools to increase the amount of extra curricular activity taking place and football is one of the eight target sports.
There are a number of benefits for all concerned. More opportunities for children to participate in sporting activity. Children receive high quality sport specific coaching from NGB trained coaches
- Why the SSP require the coaches
School staff may be released from delivery of that sport to deliver something different. Coaches get paid for coaching. Links between clubs and schools can be strengthened
