As the world's most popular sport football allows us to show unity between different communities. However, many players from ethnic minorities continue to face abuse and harrassment because of their background.
Players, referees or administrators are reminded that racial abuse on the field of play is a red car offence. Teams, leagues or individuals who exclude, abuse or harass becuse of race or religion will face having their registration cancelled.
Players suffering from racial abuse are encouraged to report it to referees on the field of play and to the Secretary or Chairman of their League. The County should also be infomred immediately.
We all have a responsibility to tackle racism in football.
DON'T LET IT RUIN OUR GAME
