The minimum number of participants required for a course to run is 12.

What can I expect from the course?

3 hours in duration, managed by an experienced and fully qualified FA Safeguarding Tutor, the course format is classroom based and will provide you with the knowledge to support participants to create a fun, safe and positive environment and importantly, ensure you are aware how to identify and report any concerns about a child’s welfare. On completion, your Safeguarding Children certificate will be valid for 3 years and is a pre-requisite to gaining a ‘pass’ across all FA Coaching qualification levels.

On completion of the course, you will have covered;

  •  Best Practice
    • Signs, symptoms, forms of abuse and poor practice
    • Behaviours that are cause for concern
