1st4Sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Football (L1)
The knowledge gained from this qualification will enable you to develop a basic understanding of safe, ethical and effective
football coaching to young people.
1st4sport Level 2 Award in Coaching Football (L2)
For participants aged 17+ and who have completed the Level 1 Award in Coaching Football and/or can demonstrate considerable playing and/or coaching experience. This course develops the necessary expertise and understanding in designing practices and games to improve player and team performance. The course is 10 days duration in total and all days must be fully attended in order to complete the course.
Level 3 UEFA B Licence
For participants aged 20 years and above and who have completed the Level 2 Qualification in Coaching Football. The Level 3 UEFA B Licence administered and delivered solely by FA Learning on a regional basis. No Level 3 UEFA B Licence Courses will be delivered by the Lincolnshire County FA and interested candidates should follow the link above for a full course description and links to course enrolment.
FA Emergency First Aid (EFA)
The FA Emergency Aid award is a 3 hour workshop which includes basic first aid, CPR and is a necessary prerequisite element for all FA/1st4Sport Coaching awards. The award is valid for 3 years from the date of issue and must be regularly renewed in order to comply with FA CPD regulations. Emergency Aid Workshops for clubs are also catered for but please be aware that we need at least 20 working days notice to arrange them.
Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS)
The FA Basic First Aid for Sport course is a foundation sports first aid course aimed at “lay first aiders”, specifically coaches, teachers, parents and volunteers, who are responsible for the provision of first aid when supporting sporting activities.
Coach In-Service / Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Events (CPD)
Lincolnshire County FA delivers an on-going, in service workshop programme for coach development.
Goalkeeping Coaching Award Level 1 (GKL1)
This is a course for coaches who wish to learn the basic technical aspects of Goalkeeping. It is an ideal course for those coaches who have completed the Level 1 Award in Coaching Football and who wish to develop their technical expertise in Goalkeeping further.
Goalkeeping Coaching Award Level 2 (GKL2)
This course is the next step for coaches who participated in the FA Goalkeeping Coaching Award Level 1 Course to be able to further build on the skills already learnt. The FA Goalkeeping Coaching Award Level 2 will provide candidates with the further practical knowledge and ability to organise and develop key skills and techniques.
FA Youth Award Module 1- Developing the Environment (FAYAM1)
This qualification, which forms the first of three parts of The FA Youth Qualification, is a critical tool to support coaches working with young players and is an innovative qualification devised by The FA to further support the development of young players in England.
FA Youth Award Module 2- Developing the Practice (FAYAM2)
This qualification, which forms the second of three parts of The FA Youth Qualification, is a critical tool to support coaches working with young players and is an innovative qualification devised by The FA to further support the development of young players in England.
Youth Award Module 3 - Developing the Player (FAYAM3)
This course, which forms the third of three parts of the FA Youth Award, is only available to coaches who are minimum FA
Level 2 Coaching Certificate qualified and hold both the FA Youth Award Modules 1 and 2.
Lincolnshire County FA does not schedule or deliver the FA Youth Award Module 3. These courses are delivered regionally by FA Learning.
FA Safeguarding Children (FASCW)
A comprehensive three-hour interactive workshop, mandatory for all FA qualifications.
Coaching Futsal: A Beginner's Guide (Futsal)
The aim of this course is to provide candidates with an understanding of the techniques and skills related to the game of Futsal. This course will help candidates organise and deliver basic Futsal practices. It will also provide candidates with an introduction to the structure of the game, the laws and the role Futsal can play in developing underlying skills and techniques.
Coaching Disabled Footballers (CDF)
The Coaching Disabled Footballers course is designed to give football coaches and teachers ideas and practices for the inclusion of disabled players in football sessions within mainstream or impairment specific sessions.
Mentoring Adults (Mentoring)
A six hour, classroom based, course designed for football coaches, acting as a mentor and providing support to other coaches, within a club environment. The course provides a safe and positive environment in which to develop the skills required to become an effective mentor.
