Female Coaches Mentoring Group

Lincolnshire FA is launching a Female Only Coach Mentor group. The purpose of the group is to support female coaches within the county at a local level. The group would meet 4-5 times per year at Lincolnshire FA offices where we would discuss development plans for the group and individuals, progress with the FA Coach Mentor, opportunities to progress as a coach, whilst also linking in some learning to meeting (bespoke CPD opportunities). Outside of the meetings we would allocate each coach a FA Coach mentor who will support each individual with their coaching, attend training sessions at their club, with their players in an evening or a weekend. To ensure female coaches get the most out of the group we will put all coaches into cluster groups of the same level coaches and in fairly similar regions of the county, ensuring time and hours with the FA Coach Mentor are spent efficiently.

As part of the group we will offer you the opportunity to progress through the coaching pathway (at your own pace), should you wish, however, if this isn’t a priority, it won’t stop any female coach being part of the group, it’s only an option. Lastly, we will also provide in-house coaching CPD events which all group members can attend and this will support each coach with attaining enough hours to renew their FA Licensed Coaches Club membership.

All of this is free and of no cost! We would like to see as many female coaches within Lincolnshire on the programme. Our launch event will be held at Lincolnshire FA, Deepdale Enterprise Park, Deepdale Lane, Nettleham, Lincoln, LN2 2LL, Wednesday 29th March 2017, 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
