Scunthorpe Area Delegate Vacancy

Following the resignation of Paul Birkitt the Area Delegate with responsibility for Scunthorpe and surrounding area, and in accordance with Article 50 of the Lincolnshire Football Association (LFA), Articles of Association a “Casual Vacancy” has now arisen.

Consequently the Board of Directors seek applications from suitably experienced individuals who will serve until the LFA Annual General Meeting in July 2019; whereupon the person appointed will retire and shall then be eligible for re-election in accordance with the Articles of Association for a further two year period.

Applicants must demonstrate a good knowledge and interest in all aspects of grassroots football within the Scunthorpe and surrounding area embracing Youth, Intermediate, and Open Age football played by both Male and Female Participants.

Another important aspect of this role will be representing the LFA at League Meetings within the designated area and to act as a catalyst between the LFA and all participants.

The successful applicant will also be required to attend LFA Council Meetings which are scheduled for the Thursday 13th September 2018, Thursday 8th November 2018, Thursday 14th February 2019, Thursday 9th May 2019, and Thursday 18th July 2019. These meetings take place at the LFA Office and commence at 3:30pm.

In accordance with the Articles of Association applicants must reside within Scunthorpe or the surrounding area.
