Lincolnshire FA is set to deliver a number of briefing evenings throughout the county to provide key information to referees, players, leagues and club officials on the implementation of Temporary Dismissals (Sin Bins).
The International Football Board (IFAB) has amended the Laws of the Game for the 2019/20 season to introduce Temporary Dismissals into all grassroots football, which has been defined by The FA Referees Committee - following a consultation with leagues - as Step 5 and below.
National FAs had a choice of whether to apply to all cautions or just dissent. The FA decided it will only be used in cases of dissent.
It is important that all referees and at least one club representative should attend one of these events. If you have been part of one of the trial leagues in Grimsby or Peterborough last season, you are not required to attend.
Please follow the hyperlinks below to select and book onto a briefing session. If you require further information, please contact Lincolnshire FA’s Referee Development Officer on Michael.Brader@LincolnshireFA.com or 07870 349245.
