Congratulations to October and November's Respect Teams of the Month

RESPECT TEAM OF THE MONTH WINNERS CONFIRMED FOR OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER

OCTOBER 2019

The winners of October’s Respect Team of the Month Award are North Lindum Hawks U11 Athletics!

They were nominated by Caela O'Hara for the fixture played on Sunday 6 October and the reason for her nomination was: “Each week they play with enthusiasm and regardless of the score they show true sportsmanship. When players fall or get injured they ask if they are okay and help them back up and clap when the player is back on their feet.”

Tim Edwards, manager of NLH U11 Athletics said: “This is awesome news. Thanks very much.”

NOVEMBER 2019

Congratulations to Nettleham FC U16s, who won the Respect Team of the Month Award for November 2019!

They were nominated by Simon Fawcett for the fixture played on 10 November and the reason for his nomination was the team showed “Respect for themselves, the referee and the opposition. They play great football, adapt and create to all situations. They have great, supportive parents who respect the value of good football, congratulating both teams on great play.”

David Ashworth, manager of Nettleham U16s, said: “Wow, thank you so much and to Simon Fawcett for nominating us. Really pleased and it is nice to be recognised for good football and Respect.”

Both teams will be presented with an award and match day ball in the New Year.
