Face-to-Face ID Verification for DBS Checks

New guidelines on face-to-face ID document verifications for DBS checks

CARRYING OUT FACE-TO-FACE IDENTITY DOCUMENT VERIFICATION FOR DBS CHECKS IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT COVID-19 GUIDELINES

New guidelines on face-to-face ID document verifications for DBS checks have been produced in line with the Government guidance issued on 1 June 2020, which sees the easing of lockdown restrictions on gatherings, public spaces, and outdoor activities and the phased return of outdoor sport and recreation.

This means that face-to-face ID document verification can now take place as long as the verifier and those requiring their ID to be verified observe all Government guidelines.

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

To support the re-introduction of Face-to-Face FA DBS ID Verification, we at Lincolnshire FA have created a booking system to ensure the process is safe and fits in line with Government and FA guidance.

Club coaches should utilise Club Welfare Officers to verify documents in the first instance, but if further support is required, please contact us at Lincolnshire FA.

The Lincolnshire FA offices, based in Nettleham, Deepdale Enterprise Park, Deepdale Lane, Nettelham, LN2 2LL, will operate a drop-in by appointment only for document verification, every Tuesday from 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm.

To make an appointment, please contact Sarah Pridmore on sarah.pridmore@lincolnshirefa.com OR Stuart Houlton on stuart.houlton@lincolnshirefa.com
