Meet our Youth Coach of the Year, Robert Bell

Congratulations to Robert and thank you again to everyone who nominated.

LINCOLNSHIRE FA IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT ROBERT BELL OF HOLBEACH UNITED HAS BEEN NAMED OUR 2020 GRASSROOTS COACH OF THE YEAR (YOUTH)

After being shortlisted alongside Glenn Long (Sleaford Town), Amy Kay (Grimsby Borough), Simon Havard (Scotter Juniors) and Ken Grant (Bourne Town), Robert was deservedly named as Lincolnshire FA’s Grassroots Coach of the Year for Youth in the 2020 FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards.

Once the award was confirmed, Robert said: “It was an honour to be nominated and feels surreal to have won. It’s a privilege to be the coach of the boys and girls of the teams I look after. Each and every one of them are a joy. Although this is an individual award, I owe a huge debt to my fellow coaches at Holbeach. They are a fantastic supportive group, always helping one another and always willing to help to try and better the club. Many thanks for the nomination and for the award.”

Congratulations to Robert and thank you again to everyone who nominated.
