We are delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new ladies 5-a-side league, which will be starting on Thursday 24 February at the Oasis Academy Wintringham in Grimsby. 
• Games will 30 mins long and take place every Thursday night from 24 February. 

• There will initially be between 6-8 teams, with 10-14 games every rolling-season. 

• There are trophies and medals for winners and runners up. 

• Squad size on any night can be up to eight players, so there’s a roll on roll off substitute option. 

• Match fee will be £25 per week so no more than £5 per player, less for a larger squad. 

• Games will be played between the hours of 7:30-9pm.

• This is another exclusive agreement between Lincolnshire FA and Leisure Leagues. 

Steph Powell, Senior Football Development officer for Lincolnshire FA, said: “This will only be the second league of its kind in the county and we think it will be hugely successful in the north east of the county.

“What we find with Leisure Leagues is an extremely committed and professional outfit who are highly motivated to deliver a successful, weekly small-sided league to help develop and promote ladies football in the area.” 

Michael Clark, the area manager for Leisure Leagues in Lincolnshire, is delighted to be involved. He said: “We helped start a new ladies 5-a-side league in Lincoln in September and that has gone from strength to strength. We are honoured to help roll out another league for the provision of Grimsby and the surrounding area. The Lincolnshire FA have been absolutely superb in their support across the board for both our male and female leagues. We can’t wait to get started!”
