Disability (Inclusive) Football

Lincolnshire FA is striving to ensure that every person that wants to be involved in the game can be. There are opportunities for a player with a disability to access football across the county at various levels in Lincolnshire is growing.

Whether you are an enthusiastic grassroots player who enjoys a kick about with friends, or if you have ambitions to develop as a player and potentially play for your country we have a pathway for you.

What we do:

Just Turn up & Play Centres; During the 2016/17 season the FA will be supporting more clubs and the County FA in running Just turn up & play centres, with a priority to set up more regular provision for youth and females players to access the game. Sessions will be advertised when organised.

Talent Identification Programme; Lincolnshire FA have been awarded a license by the FA to deliver an FA Disability Talent Identification Programme (TIP) this season to identify players between the ages of 11-16 years old. Therefore, Lincolnshire County FA will be hosting an England Talent Day, Saturday 18th March – 11am-1pm, at Lincoln Christ School, Wragby Road, Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Ability Counts League; is a PAN Disability league which operates on a festival basis with teams across Lincolnshire and come together once a month at a central venue for their fixture days. The Ability Counts League has 20 Male Adult teams across 3 divisions and we are working hard to develop the youth league/ provision. Within this, players have the opportunity to be selected for the Lincolnshire Ability Counts Representative 11aside team.
