Girls in a training session

Girls and Goals

Girls & Goals is a Lincolnshire FA-affiliated league

The aim of this programme is to offer a fun and enjoyable football experience for teams at Under 7s, 9s and 11s.

For the majority of Under-7s teams it will be the first experience of a structured football offer, therefore the impetus is firmly put on fun and enjoyment, creating that positive environment for players to thrive and develop a lifelong affiliation to the sport.

Fixture festivals take place bi-monthly at Under-7s.

The Under-9s offers a more regular provision, with fixture festivals taking place monthly. The festivals endeavour to create the same positive environment and gear up participants for transition to Under-11s with increased commitment.

Under-11s provision consists of two, six week blocks of fixtures, pre and post-Christmas. This structure is designed to support transition into the Mid-Lincs Youth League at Under 12s.

If your club is interested in developing girls’ football or looking to recruit new players, Lincolnshire FA - with the Girls & Goals programme - can support. The programme has had a lot of success in the past, seeing the generation of new teams and the recruitment of new players to existing teams.
