Volunteers within football come in many guises, from the people who give up their time to manage and coach within their local club to the people who wash the kit and fill up the drinks bottles for half time and all that are in between. Without all of you, grassroots football in Lincolnshire would not happen.
Lincolnshire County FA are committed to supporting volunteers as we recognise your contribution to the success of the game. This section of the website will support volunteers and potential new volunteers with information on how to get involved in football, how to develop your skills through our in service programme, what the next step on the coaching pathway is, support and guidance for Welfare and Respect volunteers and information on how to develop your club through the use of the FA Your Game webpage. Young volunteers and leaders are also catered for through our Football Futures programme which you can read more about within this section of the website.
Whether your involvement in football is hands on or behind the scenes, Lincolnshire County FA’s Development and Governance Teams are on hand to provide information and point you in the right direction.
As well as supporting all of our volunteers, we look to celebrate the work they deliver through the annual FA Community Awards, which recognises the achievements of individuals, clubs and leagues.
In partnership with McDonald’s The FA have created a site which offers free, qualified advice to all; from parents to coaches to clubs. The Your Game (Insert following link into ‘Your Game’ - http://www.thefa.com/my-football/football-volunteers/coachingvolunteering) site offers online tools and tips to literally take the paperwork out of the normal day-to-day routine of running a club, freeing volunteers to work on growing their clubs.
