Boston United Girls Regional Talent Club

Our Girls RTC replaces the current Centre of Excellence and Player Development Centre model to create a pathway for girls’ football and bridge the gap between grassroots and elite football. It is designed to enhance skills and development so elite female players can strive to become part of the FA Girls’ England talent pathway.

We are the only club in Lincolnshire to be awarded such licence, and we very committed to the development of girl’s football. Being based in Boston, Lincolnshire will allow us to become a central hub for girls in the wider locality to develop their skills.

Grantham Town Under 13's

We are looking for new players to join our U 13 team for the forthcoming 2016/17 season. We have entered to play in the Grantham League which we play on a Sunday. Training is every Tuesday on the new 4G pitch at the Meres Leisure centre. All players will have access to the new coaching foundation with a pathway to the Academy and possibly the first team. All kit is provided together with a season ticket to watch the first team home league games in the Unibond Northern Premier.

Long Bennington Football Club

Long Bennington Disability U16’s team require a coach, CRB check is required, Qualified Level 1/ Coaching Disabled footballers coach or willing to work towards it.

Walking into the Future - Walking Football for the over 50's

We are looking to start a Walking Football group on Friday nights under floodlights. We need someone to come along, organise & manage the group; helping to organise the evenings and encourage all interested players. 

Given the number of previous players in senior years, we have lots of interest in the possibility of Walking Football.  


Just this season alone has seen Long Bennington Football Club complete an ambitious Sport England playing Field Grant project & be awarded Community Charter Standard status.  We need, & would like to recruit any & all like minded volunteers to come & join us. Please come & be part of our continued success and development. 

Given our ambitious development plans to increase the number of football teams we will need many more Football Coaches & Team Managers to coach & develop the players and manage the teams. 

At LBFC, we have a philosophy that player development is always more important than teams winning medals & trophies. So if you're a like minded football person who's passionate about developing the next generation of footballers? Then come & join us? 

All coaches will be backed up with full club support from an FA Club Mentor, Coach Coordinator, secretary & Child Welfare Officer. After a suitable qualifying period (commitment shown) all fees for any coaching courses are paid for by the club. So these are excellent opportunities for coaches to gain extra qualifications whilst gaining valuable coaching experience. 

But volunteering doesn't have to mean wearing a tracksuit & whistle whilst coaching football or managing a team? 

As a new Community Charter Standard Club we will need volunteers in a number of roles.....

Publicity & Promotions Officer? - Qualified or want experience in Marketing, PR or promotions? As few or as many hours as you want.

Refreshments / shop / Catering?  - Saturday morning Match day, training sessions & events catering (most probably to become a paid position / opportunity?)

Be proficient in communicating with injured players, and in conveying relevant information to team management in both match situations and for longer term assessments. The role will invove travel to away games in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Norfolk, the role pays £30.00 per week.
