Lincolnshire FA Disability Talent Identification Programme Underway

Lincolnshire FA Football Development Officer (Inclusion) Adam Thurston said “The day was a real success, which allowed players with a variety of disabilities to take part in a National FA Talent Identification Programme, highlight the options available within disability football and play within a fun, relaxed environment.  We would like to congratulate all the 13 players who have been selected to take part in Lincolnshire FA, 6-week Talent Identification programme.”
Additionally Lincolnshire FA Football Development Community Coach Michelle Marshall also saying “Opportunities for players with disabilities to access football at various levels has grown over the past few years with our England Talent Day demonstrating one of the many opportunities available – the day itself was very successful and feel we have a good group of players to take on to the next phase and I am looking forward to working with them over the 6-weeks.”

The Induction day & first delivery session of the 6-week Talent Identification programme got underway in full attendance on Tuesday 11th April at Lincoln Christ Hospital School, 6.30-8pm.
The coaches where accompanied by Will Perkins; Midlands Talent Selection Officer on the night giving both players & parents an induction into the Disability Football Talent Pathway, in addition to welcoming back 13 players which have been sign-posted through to the 6-week programme.
