Committee Vacancies at Lincolnshire FA

The Lincolnshire Football Association (LFA) is committed to ensuring that we reflect the views of our football community. 

As such we are looking for individuals to assist in the development and running of the game across the county by becoming a member of one of the Association’s development committees.

The LFA is the not-for-profit governing body of football in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting time for football and the LFA hopes to use the power of football to build a better future for the game in Lincolnshire and to lead the successful development of the sport at every level across the county.  

Today we have over 1,600 teams under our banner, stretching across one of the largest geographical counties in the country. The Association would welcome expressions of interest from members of the grass roots community, who possess the skills, experiences and backgrounds that will add value to the work of the committees and ultimately the game and our activities across Lincolnshire. The role and remit of the committees are as follows:

Cup Committee

To govern, lead, plan and develop the Association’s County Cup and tournament programme.
Rules Committee

To oversee, sanction and govern rules and changes to rules in respect to the affiliation of leagues and clubs across the county.

Referees Committee

To oversee the development, recruitment, retention and promotion of referees across the county at all levels of the grass roots game.

These positions are voluntary, with the Association reimbursing members for any expenses incurred in delivering the role.

Successful applicants joining the Referees Committee, due to the nature of the role, need to be a minimum Level 5 qualified referee, be a qualified Referee Observer and have experience within a Referee Development setting.

If you would like to be considered for a position please submit a letter of intent, outlining the committee you would like to join and detailing the skills, experiences and background that you feel would add value to the work of the Association.
