The Lincolnshire County FA are committed to promoting equality by treating people fairly and with respect. We respect inequalities exist and we are taking steps to address them by providing access and opportunities to all members of the community.

What is Equality?

Equality is ensuring individuals or groups of individuals are treated fairly and equally and no less favourably, specific to their needs, including areas of race, gender, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation and age.

The County FA in all of its activities will not discriminate against anyone or treat anyone less favourably due to gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age, race, nationality and religion or belief. Lincolnshire FA also has no tolerance policy on harassment, bullying, abuse or victimisation this includes sexual or racially based harassment whether physical or verbal. The CFA will work to ensure that any such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.

We at Lincolnshire FA understand that discrimination towards individuals does currently exist and are taking strides to ensure we combat any such discrimination within football. Lincolnshire FA staff have currently taken part in an 'opening doors and joining in workshop' that supports the campaign 'football v homophobia' and are furthering their individual knowledge to ensure that Lincolnshire FA is a welcoming environment for LGBT people and their families. We at Lincolnshire FA celebrate diversity within society and are striving to promote and reflect this within football across the County.

With this in mind Lincolnshire FA are working towards achieving the foundation level of equality standard which will further demonstrate and measure our commitment to equality, assist us in delivering good practice and assist in developing football in the county to be open, friendly and welcoming to all.

For more information regarding equality within football please look at other websites such as; Kick It Out, Pride Sports and the Justin Campaign. These are campaigns that we as a CFA follow/support and adhere to ensuring that all policies and procedures are maintained to allow accessibility to football for all.

Lincolnshire FA want to make sure that everyone feels safe and secure and has the opportunities to play football, it is for this reason, it is for this reason that we do not tolerate or take lightly any form of racism or discrimination towards others. If YOU or ANYBODY involved within your football club are being treated wrongly and with discrimination, or if YOU hear that somebody  is being discriminated against whether opposition, manager or spectators please make sure you report such an incident to the Lincolnshire FA where it can be dealt with accordingly.

Kick It Out provide an online report from where you can fill all details regarding the incident in and they will discuss issues with the relevant County FA or you could ring Kick It Out directly on 0800 169 414. Failing this we welcome direct contact to the Lincolnshire FA on 08449 67 07 08.
