Lincolnshire Football Association are due to host a consultation event with the grassroots football community of Lincolnshire to review the Association's current strategy and how to develop the local game moving forward into the next strategy period. 

After a summer of national consultation through the 'A Conversation With Our Game' roadshows and the upcoming review of the National Game Strategy (2024-2028), Lincolnshire Football Association are excited to announce the first of our upcoming consultation events to review our current local strategy for grassroots football. 

The event will see an overview of the current state of play regarding grassroots football in Lincolnshire, delivered by our new Chair Sir Jonathan Van Tam and CEO, Nick Hanson. Additionally, we will then host various sessions aligned to clubs and leagues to provide consultation on key pillars of the game such as behaviours in the game, facilities & participation growth/retention, and volunteer workforce & league organisation. 

This first consultation event of this season is designed for all individuals within Lincolnshire to attend to provide valuable consultation, ensuring grassroots football in Lincolnshire continues to progress and develop across the next 4-year National Game Strategy (2024-2028).

Given the timing of the event and our understanding of the volunteer workforce providing their time to support grassroots football in Lincolnshire, food and refreshments will be provided. Additionally, for clubs and leagues that are England Football Accredited this event will contribute towards your England Accredited 'in-service' event for the 2023-24 season.

The event will be hosted on Wednesday 13th December 2023 at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The event is completely free to attend and is open for everyone involved in grassroots football in Lincolnshire.
