Lincoln City Foundation Launches B1 Blind Football Sessions

Project B1 is an opportunity for players with a visual impairment to play football in a fun and safe environment

Lincoln City Foundation have announced the launch of a new B1 Blind Football Sessions, due to launch this Saturday at 1pm.

Project B1 is an opportunity for players with a visual impairment to play football in a fun and safe environment . The aim of B1 is to introduce more blind players to the game through adapted practices and competitive play formats - it is a fully accessible, small sided version of blind football that works on all the fundamental techniques needed to play the full version of blind football.

Time: 1pm-2pm

Age Group: 
5-15 year olds
16+

Venue:  LNER Stadium 3G Pitch, LNER Stadium, Lincoln, LN5 8LD

Surface: Astro (3G)

Equipment:  NO Football Boots with metal screws, spikes or blades. Please wear shin pads.

Parking: 2nd March 2024 is a Lincoln City FC Matchday. This means on this date that we do not have access to the Stacey West car park as usual and all other stadium car parks are also out of bounds. Please could you arrange to park away from the stadium footprint for all 3G usage and/or Foundation sessions. Please also be mindful there will be increased traffic in the surrounding area and increased security on entry to the stadium. Play Zone, as previously explained, is completely out of bounds for parking, irrespective of the matchday and/or timings.

If the player is U18, the following booking form MUST be completed by a parent/ guardian, NOT the player. Please ensure you enter the parent/ guardian's contact number and email only.
