Mixed Football

The FA Board and FA Council rules mean that girls and boys will be able to play in the same teams up to and including the U18 age level if they choose to do so. For more information on local teams and contacts please use the ‘Find a Club’ tool below:

Adult Female Football

The FA established and operates the Women’s Football Pyramid, which provides clubs with a level of competitive football appropriate to their playing ability, stadium/ground facilities and economic means.

In 2011 The FA launched The FA WSL, a new elite, summer league for women’s football at the pinnacle of the Women’s Football Pyramid. The FA believes the WSL will be the key platform to drive the women’s game forward in England. The WSL concept was developed to enable players in this country to earn a good living from the game whilst allowing WSL clubs to develop new revenue streams and support for women’s football.

Lincolnshire FA administer an run the Lincolnshire County Womens League, which comprises of structured, flexible formats of football in the shape of a traditional 11 v 11 season, cup competition and small sided footballs events / tournaments.
