Women & Girls' Club Information Evening

CLUB INFORMATION EVENING TO TAKE PLACE AT BISHOP GROSSETESTE UNIVERSITY ON TUESDAY 3 MARCH (6.30-8PM)

Club secretaries and chairmen are being invited to Lincolnshire FA’s Women and Girls’ Club Information Evening at Bishop Grosseteste University on Tuesday 3 March.

As an organisation, Lincolnshire FA is committed to providing the highest quality footballing experience for females, from their very first experience in the game at five years of age all the way through to Open Age adults.

We are keen to ensure that our delivery of the game is of the highest standard possible and is the best fit for all clubs going into the coming seasons.

In light of this we have decided to take on a restructure of our female league system within the County. This is a decision that has been made in conjunction with and has the full support of the Mid-Lincs Youth League.

We are going to run the female leagues at ALL age groups in house, at the County FA and align our female pathway, under one Charter Standard League, with a detailed five year development plan. This will allow for every female to be playing under the same rules and regulations, within the same league structure, with an established offering at every age group operating under a best fit model for the development of our game that will in turn attract, develop and retain players and the wider female workforce in our game.

This restructure will, inevitably, impact your club, whether you currently play within the county borders or outside, at U8s in our Girls & Goals League, within the Mid-Lincs or in the Lincolnshire County Women’s League. It is for that reason that we would like both your club secretary and Chairperson to be present at the event.

At the event we will present our plans for the upcoming seasons, share how this will impact your club and give all clubs the opportunity to discuss and share their feedback and opinions on what those league structures should look like. As the main decision makers at your club it is really important that you are there with us on the evening; if you are unable to make it you are welcome to invite another club representative to attend on your behalf but please be aware that this event is capped at two representatives from each club, not each team.
