This award has been created for the positive parent from the side-lines who consistently gives both teams the best matchday experience, inspiring others to behave positively. 

Huge congratulations to Jo and thank you for everything you do to support grassroots football in Lincolnshire. 

Here’s what Jo had to say: “I am overwhelmed to be nominated for this award let alone to win. It is an honour to be part of such a fantastic team at Appleby Frodingham F.C; they are great set of lads, coaches and parents. 

“After Ben’s dad suddenly passed away I tried to remain positive and focus on him and his love of football, I love to help with fundraising, trying to obtain sponsorship and collecting monthly team subs. It’s lovely to be part of this footballing family. 

“This award is for all of the team, not just me. Rob is a fantastic coach and has helped Ben a lot with his confidence. Thank you for the nomination!
