New County Under-16 Cup Sponsor: FCV International
FCV International has joined forces with Lincolnshire FA to sponsor the County Under-16 Cup; a partnership which will benefit grassroots football players from across Lincolnshire.
FCV International Football Academy is the UK’s first private football academy providing football development and the opportunity to gain educational qualifications, along with the aim to equip its students for life after the academy.
The football coaching at FCV includes specialist outfield and goalkeeping sessions, strength and conditioning training and nutritional advice. FCV help players on their journey, preparing them for the modern game as well as providing opportunities to be seen by the professional football clubs.
A diverse of education programme allows FCV to offer full-time and part-time education courses. FCV have partnered with some of the UK’s leading specialist education partners to offer first class teaching and qualifications.
FCV has supported local students for many years as they believe it is important to give back to the local community. Day students can attend for a fee of £500 per year, which will include the full football programme, kit, equipment, academic studies, guest speakers and some lunchtime/pre-match meals.
On Wednesday 4 August, FCV will be hosting a football open day for those aged 15-18 interested in joining the academy at Borderville Sports Centre, Stamford. The open day begins at 10am and will include two training sessions with UEFA licenced coaches, a tour of the residential and training facilities, a presentation about the academy and the BTEC level 3 course as well as a complimentary lunch.
