Lincolnshire FA is excited to be launching a new competition as part of a rebranding of the very unique and successful Ability Counts League!
The Ability Counts League operates on a festival basis and puts players into divisions based on their ability, not disability; enabling players with different impairments to pay together and against each other in what’s known as PAN disability.
As part of this rebranding competition, Lincolnshire FA is asking members of the grassroots football community to put forward their own designs of a new Ability Counts League badge.
We would like entries to focus on the theme of togetherness and try to incorporate elements associated with the county of Lincolnshire where possible. The words ‘Ability Counts League’ should be present on the badge to create a clear identity but other than that, please feel free to be as creative as you like!
There are many ways for you to enter. You can draw a badge on paper, create on a computer or even just send a description. The winning entry will be professionally designed so if you're unsure about your drawing skills, don't worry! Any ideas are welcome in whichever format works best for you.
With your entry, it would be great if you could also provide a sentence or two on how football creates a sense of community and why it is important to you.
To submit your badge design, please email to email@example.com or post to Lincolnshire Football Association, Deepdale Enterprise Park, Deepdale Ln, Nettleham, Lincoln LN2 2LL.
As well as the pride you’ll get from seeing your own design featured in all promotion of the Ability Counts League, thanks to our partners at Kitlocker we’re also able to offer the following prizes to the winner of our competition.
• Nike Academy 21Knit Track Jacket (in the size and colour of your choice)
• Nike Academy 21Tech Knit Pants (in the size and colour of your choice)
• A Nike football
• A plaque featuring the winning design as a keepsake
Please submit all entries by Friday 19 February 2021.
Good luck to everyone taking part! We look forward to seeing your entries and deciding on a winner in February.
