Emma Pearce Recognised for her Valuable Service to the Community
Emma Pearce, the secretary and club welfare officer of Lincolnshire club Deeping United FC, has received an award from the High Sheriff of Lincolnshire for her valuable service to the community.
Deeping United is a large, multi-team club that was only formed in 2018. The club offer opportunities for boys and girls, males and females from U5s right through to adult veteran teams and now has over 270 participants.
Emma is the driving force behind the club and actively engages with Lincolnshire FA in driving forward numerous projects and initiatives aimed at providing new opportunities and improving existing provision.
Her commitment, tenacity, drive, enthusiasm and professionalism is and has been unwavering, even during the most testing of times. This has led to the club growing, developing and expanding to become a cornerstone of the community and of grassroots football in Lincolnshire.
