Club Governance and Structures Workshop

The session takes place on Wednesday 3 August at The Showroom, Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QY

Lincolnshire Football Association, through its five-year strategy, is committed to providing, an engaging, worthwhile and informative calendar of CPD to support Lincolnshire's grassroots football volunteer workforce.

Aligned with The FA's transition to England Football Accreditation, Lincolnshire Football Association is delighted to announce the first club forum of the 2022-23 season

Throughout the 2021-22 season, Lincolnshire FA received numerous enquiries regarding club structures, governance, finances and how the club volunteer workforce can be appropriately prepared for running a grassroots/semi-professional football club. As such, in partnership with Northbank Forum for Voluntary Organisations, Lincolnshire Football Association will deliver an interactive two-hour workshop covering the following topics, thus supporting you and your club committee to be suitably prepared when governing your football club:

Organisational Structures

- Pros, cons and risks of different structures - incorporated versus unincorporated
- Understanding your constitution and constitutional processes
- Who are your members?
- Best practice model for affiliated clubs
- Infrastructure support services across Lincolnshire and Greater Lincolnshire

This workshop will be appropriate for a number of varying volunteers at your football club, therefore, Lincolnshire FA would advise that each attending club has at least two committee representatives. Food and refreshments will be provided as part of the evening; furthermore, attendance will count towards your annual CPD requirement as an England Accredited Club.
