Pitchside Football League are offering a fantastic opportunity this Easter as they are holding an Easter Weekend of Football, which includes the opportunity for teams to play 3 v 3 football!

The event is being held at Ross Sports Ground, Peakes Lane, Grimsby, on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April. 

3 v 3 football is an innovative format of the game which is becoming more and more popular as it allows players more touches on the ball, the opportunity to score more goals and to have lots of fun. 3 v 3 football is played on a pitch with smaller dimensions than a standard 5 v 5 or 7 v 7 pitch and with inflatable sides, the ball is in play more too, leading to more decision-making opportunities.

In addition to the 3 v 3 football, the ‘Weekend of Football’ will also include other fun footballing activities, such as footgolf and speed gun.

In addition to the Easter tournament, Lincolnshire FA is delighted to be partnering with Pitchside Football League to roll out a 3 v 3 football roadshow across Lincolnshire, giving children and young people the opportunity to trial this exciting, innovative version of the game for the first time.
