Lincolnshire Football Association is delighted to announce the launch of Linx-Legends, a brand-new football programme designed to increase playing opportunities for those over the age of 35 years old within Lincolnshire.

The first Linx-Legends League is to take place on the South Axholme Academy 3G in North Lincolnshire and is due to start on Sunday 6th November. 

Fixtures will take place every other week between 6-8pm, meaning players can get their own ‘Super-Sunday’ fix through this new, exciting 9 v 9 format which will consist of league & cup fixtures.

Each fixture will consist of 2 x 25-minute halves and a 5-minute half time, all of which will be overseen by an FA registered match official. Fixtures, results and a league table will all be administered & available through the FA Full Time platform. 

The league entry fee is £30 which will ensure each team is covered by Public Liability Insurance and this will last until 30th June 2023. The weekly cost per team is £40, less than £3.50 per player for a squad of 12.
