The County Women’s Plate competition was newly formed from 2022/23 and is made up of teams that were knocked out the County Women’s Cup in round 1 or 2 of the competition, with the teams in the Women’s pyramid still having the opportunity to play for silverware come the end of the season.  Grimsby Borough Ladies are our first winners of the County Women’s Plate, beating Sleaford Town Ladies 2-0 at the Jakemans Stadium, Boston.

Chris Funnell, Head of Football Operations at Lincolnshire FA, said: “Our renewed approach to commercial partnerships is exciting new territory for us as the County Football Association but also for our existing and prospective new partnerships.

As such, I’m delighted that Marsh Sport has continued its support of grassroots football in Lincolnshire, namely, its sponsorship of the County Women’s Plate, one of our many prestigious County Cups.
