New Grass Pitch CPD Announced For February
Lincolnshire FA, in partnership with The Grounds Management Association (GMA), we can announce the next Grass Pitch CPD webinar.
This workshop will be delivered by Chris Hunter from the Grounds Management Association, and the objective of this workshop is to provide guidance and advise on end of season renovations.
Chris, the Regional Pitch Advisor covering Lincolnshire, has 14 years' practical experience in sports turf and amenity grassland management. Prior to his current role, Chris spent three years as a tutor on the Level 2 and Level 3 Sports Turf Apprenticeships at Askham Bryan College. Chris is a qualified assessor and has conducted many practical and skills assessments from grassroots to elite-level surfaces.
The workshop will include the following topics:
- Planning a spring renovation and recovery programme.
- How to manage your budget to get the best recovery.
- What is involved in turf grass renovations.
- The benefits of turf grass renovations.
- Restoring the playing surfaces and the opportunity to improve the site
