The April 2024 Lincolnshire FA Veo Goal of the Month award has been won by Emily Grove of Sleaford Town Juniors FC U16 Belles after winning the public ballot with 27% of the total votes. 

The Belles attacker won last month's award, having seen off competition from Owen Sargeant, Charlie Robinson, Matt Bowley, Kieran Bloor, and Luke Horne.

Lincolnshire FA's Media, Marketing & Events Officer - Zack Leader - presented the award at Sleaford Town Juniors presentation day. You can watch the full video of the presentation here:

The full results for April's Veo Goal of the Month are as follows:

1. Emily Grove (Sleaford Town Juniors FC U16 Belles) - 27.75%

2. Owen Sargeant (Gainsborough Trinity Community FC U13's) - 19.25%

=2. Charlie Robinson (Bottesford Town FC U18) - 19.25%

4. Matt Bowley (Lincoln United U15's) - 15.75%

5. Kieran Bloor (Greenbank JFC U13 Flash) - 15%

6. Luke Horne (Boston United Youth U18 Black) - 3%

The Lincolnshire FA Goal of the Month award is in collaboration with our new partner, Veo Technologies.

The Veo Goal of The Month award is open for any goal scored by a Lincolnshire FA affiliated team - as long as you have got video footage of the goal, it’s ready to be nominated! 

Please note: Any team under the age of 18 will require consent from all players and parents.

To submit a nomination, you can upload it to any of your social media platforms – tagging Lincolnshire FA in the post and using the hashtag #LFAVeoGOTM. Please include the name of the player, the date the goal was scored and who it was scored for.

The Veo Goal of the Month winner will receive a framed certificate, as well as having Lincolnshire FA’s Media & Marketing Officer come down to film an interview that’ll be shared on our social media channels, as well as presenting the award to the winners.
