Do I have to go on a course to become a coach?
An FA Level 1 course will provide you with your first taste of The FA’s playing and coaching philosophy – the England DNA - through the four key components; How We Coach, How We Support, The Future Player and How We Play. Not only this, but on completion of the course you will achieve the 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Football qualification. This will enable you to coach confidently and competently in your own environment.
Do I need to belong to a club before I start coaching?
No, but you will need access to players.
