NEW Lincoln City CPD: Integrating Goalkeepers into Team Practice
Lincolnshire FA, in partnership with Lincoln City Football Club, have announced the latest, exclusive CPD event for grassroots coaches. The event is entitled 'Integrating Goalkeepers into Team Practice'.
The CPD will look to highlight how a goalkeepers' learning/curriculum can align with outfield players and how coaches can have a focus on goalkeeper development even when coaching a team practice.
The event will be hosted by Lincoln City's First Team Goalkeeper Coach, Scott Fry, and Head of Coaching at Lincoln City's Academy, Calum Oakenfold.
Scott and Calum will look to highlight goalkeeping curriculum, long term goalkeeper development and goalkeeper performance reviews through a combination of theory and practical workshops. The workshops will also highlight how goalkeepers can be developed utilizing the 4-corner model to support their technical, tactical, psychological and social progression.
