Inspired by England? Here’s how YOU can get involved

If you want to get into women and girls’ football, we can help every step of the way

With women’s football fever running high across the country as England return triumphant from WEURO2022, we’d like to remind all women and girls in Lincolnshire that there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved.

It doesn’t matter what your age or ability level, or your availability throughout the week, there is always an opening available if you want to get involved in football.

A number of useful links are listed below – and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch on info@lincolnshirefa.com

OPPORTUNITIES

Do you want to be part of a team that has regular training and games? We have lots of teams all over the County that play in the Lincolnshire Women & Girls' Football League. Use the Contact Us function of the league website to get in touch.

Are you under the age of 11 wanting to try football for the first time? Check out Weetabix Wildcats - non-competitive football that is all about having loads of fun and meeting new friends.

Are you between the ages of 12 and 14 wanting to try football for the first time? Or play football in a more relaxed and recreational way? Have a look at Squad Girls – a brand new programme for girls between the ages of 12-14 to participate in a fun, relevant and engaging recreational football offer.

If you are an adult looking for opportunities to play, there are many different options. You could play for a team in the Lincolnshire Women’s Football League, check out Lincs Ladies Play for a more recreational and casual offering, or play Walking Football
